Rolling Ranch Road Association

Our Neighborhood

Our mission is to maintain our private road as a safe, secure, attractive and reliable asset to the place we live. A great road adds to the value of everyone's property. Through proactive management of the road we can improve all of our properties and help keep undesireable elements from stalking or threatening our homes. We can find the balance between the over-restrictive Homeowner's Asssociations and the wild back roads where anything happens.  We can create a fire-safe community and strengthen the bonds between neighbors so that we all are available to keep an eye out for each other while still respecting the solitude and privacy that makes our little community somewhat unique.

The hill from Rosa up to the Carmickle driveway has some severe alligatoring, and will need some attention in the coming years to avoid potholes from forming.

The garbage can area has needed some leveling and gravel added. This has been discussed as a volunteer project. What are your thoughts?

CalFire has told us in the past that they will not come down our road in the event of a catastrophic fire because of the amount of overgrown vegetation. It is our goal to reverse that opinion and get a vote of confidence from CalFire.

In September of 2023, two yards of concrete was added to the upstream side of the culvert. Every little bit helps to ensure the longevity of the structure.

A depth gauge has been added to the upstream side of the culvert. These one foot stripes measure from the top of the culvert.
